The Correspondent Banking Relationship Manager will develop and execute a business plan targeting downstream banks in an assigned region. Position requires extensive travel, making calls, seeking referrals and developing and maintaining relationships. Position will meet with CEOs, CFOs, COOs and other officers of financial institutions. Individual will sell and cross-sell products and services including, but not limited to deposit accounts, Fed Settlement relationships, image cash letter services, on-line banking, bankcard services, cash management loan participation, Wholesale Banking relationships, and balance sheet hedging activities. The Relationship Manager will identify customers’ needs and match BBVA Compass products and services accordingly. Another important aspect of the position includes managing and retaining current relationships with existing customers, providing consultation and counsel on balances, fees, etc. Position serves as a resource for customer inquiries and responds directly back to them in a timely manner with clear information and solutions.
