What will you be doing?

The Copywriter III role is a key contributor on the design team and is responsible for creative and technical copywriting on multiple projects as well as project, resource and stakeholder management.  This role maintains brand, voice, and design integrity while supporting our creative teams to execute designs and concepts across multiple digital deliverables.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the internal clients to fully understand what the business wants and to produce clear creative briefs for the projects
  • Work with other partners to deeply understand the needs and characteristics of target customers
  • Provide useful input to other design disciplines
  • Thinks creatively and able to synthesize information into concise and compelling messages
  • Thoughtful and inspired writer with excellent written and communication skills
  • Partners with the design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and finds integrated visual/copy solutions
  • Collaborate with designers throughout the creative process, from conceptual brainstorming for new initiatives to the evolution of copy to meet creative executional needs
  • Understand and implement brand values across all channels
  • Processes feedback from key stakeholders and presents back solutions or questions to stakeholder and/or manager.
  • Clear understanding of best practices for writing content across all channels
  • Monitor progress against initial plans, adjusting/escalating as required
  • Provide updates on progress to business stakeholders/other members of the Design team
  • Present final outputs to senior stakeholders and respond to questions and/or challenges
  • Maintain awareness of relevant social, cultural, economic and technological trends
  • Informally learn from other members of the team about specific skills/knowledge
  • Takes ownership of deadlines and follows project schedules and updates



Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to fluently communicate in the vernacular of Design, Business and Technology and effectively translate between the three.  Must be fully bilingual (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish.

Collaboration: Ability to build on the ideas of others and facilitate ideation, rather than enforcing own opinions. Works cooperatively as part of a team. Works alongside, as opposed to working separately or competitively. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with a wide range of people.

Travel: The position is based in Dallas, TX and travel (approximately 25%) will be required to stay in communication with our teams and customers across the US and in other regions.


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications or sufficient work experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in product ownership, managing multiple projects with attention to detail, understand business & creative objectives to produce quality work while meeting deadlines
  • Strong copy editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with writing for a brand, brand positioning, and brand voice
  • Experience developing copy for digital channels (email, web, online ads, etc.)
  • Experience writing technical copy
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to multitask multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal skills and collaborative attitude
  • Proven track record of delivering quality work on time
  • Take ownership of the quality and timeliness of work
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Stakeholder management skills – able to build strong relationships, communicate effectively and, when necessary, challenge constructively
  • Project management skills – able to plan effectively and coordinate different work streams to deliver work on time and on budget
  • Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish.  Expert in writing copy in both English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience at interactive, advertising, or marketing/creative agency a plus
  • Experience working within the Financial sector a plus
