  • Train and develop new representatives
  • Support recruiting and hiring efforts for new reps
  • Conduct training sessions for study sessions for licensing candidates
  • Train representatives on product features, benefits, paperwork, IRAs, Roth IRAs, Trustee-to trustee transfers, 1035 exchanges, customer profiling and asset allocation, etc.
  • Coordinate wholesaler visits to banking centers, managers meetings and training sessions
  • Support representatives to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Sales / Customer Service
  • Assist newly licensed representatives with sales presentations to customers or any representative with large or difficult customers
  • Enforce suitability and compliance with representatives and assist with customer complaints
  • Cover sales in banking centers without sufficient licensed personnel
  • Be available via email or telephone for the entire sales territory every hour of each business day
  • Organize telemarketing programs, in-branch promotions, seminars and other prospecting programs in the banking centers
  • Spend blocks of time in lower-producing banking centers, training, coaching and selling
  • Resolve issues between banking centers, representatives and regional managers
  • Introduce all new products to the field
  • Deliver market information and sales tips through frequent sales meetings, daily huddles with bank employees in the banking centers
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate sales activity, techniques and presentations
  • Train non-licensed employees on referrals and monitor appropriateness of referrals and referral to sales ratio
  • Audit sales presentations
  • Review sales activity and sales presentations
  • Devise, market and administer local incentive contest
  • Recognize and reward superior performance with gifts, lunches, notes, and awards




  • Minimum of 5 years experience with sales of annuities, mutual funds, or variable annuities in a Financial Institution setting. 
  • Sales Management experience preferred. 
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.


Must meet credit history and criminal background requirements associated with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority registration process, to include FBI fingerprint criminal history, review of credit report, civil litigation, liens, and other public records.
